As you know by reading my column in the January CapM (and will see soon in the February issue, too), I'm putting together volunteers for Odyssey of the Mind. Not only would it be great to have a couple of additional people manning a Mensa table during the day of the competition, but it would be wonderful if we got even more people than last year signing up to be one of the judges for the competition.
If you want to be a judge, you'll need to attend the training session first. For those judging Region 15 (Sterling, VA vicinity), the training will be Sat., Feb. 26 and the day of competition is Sat., March 12.
Take a gander at www.odysseyofthemind.com for full details about the contest and the requirements for judging. (And for other locations where training and competitions are happening, too.)
Let me know if you're interested in participating, and if you've already volunteered to the organizers or you still need that info.
