MWM will be hosting the March 2013 AMC meeting at the Hyatt Dulles hotel in Herndon, VA. When I have more details, I will post them here.

Anyone in Region 2 considering jumping into the race for the AMC should contact one (or more) of these three members.

Mind Games (r) Fast Approaching

Believe it or not, we have barely more than 2 months before Mind Games is upon us! (Yay!) 

There are still some people who are on the attendee list who do not yet have rooms reserved. (Gasp!) While some of you are sharing rooms with others, a few of you (you know who you are - or, at least, you should know) apparently don't have any sleeping arrangements. (You'll want to get a FEW minutes of sleep during the weekend, to be sure.) 

Please remember that the special $99 room rate ENDS on March 25, which will get here faster than you might think. Take advantage of it while you still can - don't procrastinate any more! You can register for a hotel room by going to:

Group Rankings

After pushing hard and strongly encouraging for at least a year now to increase our membership size, MWM has *finally* managed to surpass Chicago in the group rankings. As of January 31, we eked past them by 6 members -- we're now at 2,107 members. Greater New York, watch out! We may have a way to go to catch you, but we're motivated.

Tourist SIG Suggestions?

I'm coming up on two years that I've been running Tourist SIG here in the DC area. We've been all over the metropolitan area with lots of indoor museum, theatre, and government-specific events to outdoor excursions. Occasionally I get suggestions sent my way, but not all that often. Is there anything in particular you would be interested in going to?
